Common questions

Questions we often hear

Does Making Tax Digital apply to me?

It started in April 2026 for sole traders and landlords with qualifying income over £50,000, and is due to extend to those over £30,000 from April 2027 and over £20,000 from April 2028. We can confirm where you stand.

What records do I need to keep?

Records of your income and expenses, with receipts and bank statements to back them up. We can recommend software that makes this easy.

I have missed a deadline. Can you help?

Yes. The sooner we get your return filed, the more we can limit penalties and interest.
